സേലം: സേലത്ത് കത്തികാണിച്ചു ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി രണ്ടുപേർ 66-കാരിയെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു. സംഭവത്തിൽ ഗോരിമേഡ് ജെല്ലിക്കാട് സ്വദേശി രവികുമാറിനെ(26) അറസ്റ്റുചെയ്തു.സേലം കോർപറേഷൻ പരിധിയിൽ വരുന്ന ഗോരിമേഡ് സ്വദേശിനിയെയാണ് പീഡിപ്പിച്ചത്. ശനിയാഴ്ച അർധരാത്രിയോടെ വീടിന് പുറത്ത് കിടക്കുകയായിരുന്ന സ്ത്രീയെ ഇരുവരും കത്തികാണിച്ചു ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് പീഡിപ്പിച്ചതെന്ന് കണ്ണൻകുറിച്ചി പോലീസ് പറയുന്നു. ഞായറാഴ്ച ഇവരെ ബന്ധുക്കൾ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിക്കുകയും തുടർന്ന് പോലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു. സി.സി.ടി.വി. സഹായത്തോടെ നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിലാണ് ഇതേ പ്രദേശത്തുള്ള ഒരുപ്രതിയെ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച അറസ്റ്റുചെയ്തത്. രണ്ടാമത്തെ പ്രതിക്കുവേണ്ടി അന്വേഷണം ഊർജിതമാക്കി. കേസ് അമ്മാപേട്ട് വനിതാ പോലീസിന് കൈമാറി.
